UPDATE: As of June 25th, 2014, MODX Revolution Translations are now being managed at Crowdin.
This will be where current Translation
Project leaders Proofreaders for Revolution will be listed.
Anyone is now welcome to contribute to the translations via Crowdin, however, acceptance and integration is the responsibility of Proofreaders (formerly Translation Leads), who must have a signed CLA.
Current Translation Leads Proofreaders:
Want to contribute a translation?
If you are part of our international community and would like to submit a translation for your language, please search your local language forums for an existing initiative. If there isn't one, please post a note in this thread if you would like to be the Translation Lead. All Translation Leads and translation contributors must have a signed CLA. Translations cannot be accepted without a CLA.
How to Submit Translations
1) Submit via GitHub by Forking MODX Revolution and submitting a Pull Request with the changes (Preferred Method), or
2) Attach patch files to the Translation ticket in bugs.modx.com (which is created once the version is locked for changes)
Tools and Information for Translators:
New Revolution Translation Method
MODX Revolution translations are now
managed at our Crowdin project[\url]. This will allow anyone to contribute translations and be moderated by proofreaders (formerly Translation Leads). Translation can either be done via a simple online tool or in-context at a special MODX Cloud instance.
Before you get started at crowdin, you'll need an account to be a translator (it's free). To get one, [url=https://crowdin.net/project/modx-revolution/invite?d=6595i4u465h5h3h453n413e3s4f483g463a3g4o4532343p43333b33343a33383a33353i403a303n4a3339323f5a383n4a3m4]use this invite link. You have two choices when it comes to translations. You can choose one or both, however, the in-context editing makes things like setup and transactional message strings less likely to see.
Method A: Crowdin Oline Translation
- Go to https://crowdin.net/project/modx-revolution
- Pick a language you want to translate
- Select the file you want to translate (status bar shows progress: grey - not translated, blue - suggestions sent, green - suggestions approved)
- Translate (items with red bullet have no suggestion, you should focus on them)
Method B: In-Context Translation
- Request the login credentials for in-context editing from help [at] modx [dot] com
- Go to http://c1291.paas2.tx.modxcloud.com/manager/ (Firefox freezes on this page, try to use other browser)
- Login with your crowdin account in the dialog and pick a language you want to translate
- Login to the MODX manager with the credentials from step 1
If you have any questions about translations or contributing, please email help [at] modx [dot] com.

Hi!
Could you please change ’pt-br’ to ’br’
I was testing the language, so I found this necessary, so it is better for working ok with plugins like "TinyMCE".
Thanks!

If anyone has any changes to be made to Translation Leads or updating information about any of the Translation Leads. Ideally everyone will have updated information in their MODX.com accounts and forum accounts—especially your email address. I have posted a thread here:
http://forums.modx.com/thread/71220/revolution-translator-contact-information#dis-post-397649 for anyone who feels they should be subscribed to the Translators email newsletter. Please let me know by replying in that thread, and we'll get you added.
