Does it make any sense to post improved translations at this time? I translated the /setup/lang/de/drivers.inc.php to German (sorry, I was away for some time and had no resources left to look after the translation for 2.0.1, so many thanks to MadeMyDay for stepping in!) and would like to share it, but 2.0.1 is done, and there is no issue opened for 2.0.2...
Hm, I take the fact that nobody replied to this as a "no"... undecided

    Cheers,
    Jan

Yes, you can definitely work on translations; there is no ticket opened at this time because the lexicon files are not frozen for 2.0.3 yet. However, if you’d like to work on the latest Git branch, you can do so here:

      http://github.com/modxcms/revolution/

By selecting the 2.0 branch. Once you’ve installed via Git you can use those files as well. You could also fork MODx to issue Pull Requests with your new translation, as recommended in the official docs.

The version I use is from GitHub. wink

Okay, I’ll occupy myself with the more advanced features of Git and give it a try... wink

Argh, your statement made me think that I had some time before the next release. Now it is out... sad There’s no posting in the Internationalization subforum, and I don’t have the time to take a closer look at the issue tracker every day (which, by the way, just now only shows a "504 Gateway Time-out" error message).

Is there a way to be notified some days before a release, preferably by e-mail? It’s no problem for me to translate the new or changed phrases, but I just can’t search for new information on it every day...

          Cheers,

2.0.3 was a security release, that we had to rush out because of a security vulnerability. We will definitely be notifying translators a week prior to 2.0.4 to give you guys plenty of time to translate.

Okay, thank you very much for your reply. I enabled the notification option for the Internationalization subforum, so hopefully this will work... wink
