Unable to load configuration settings error

Hello,

as I changed server, a linux virtual server with godaddy, I get this error:



only trying to browse public page, not the manager pages.

My server uses plesk, so I don’t have a lot of control on php settings, but thinking of a file permissions issue I at last set the entire directory to 777 with the same result.

What can depend on?

Check to see if config.inc.php exists in manager/includes/ ?

Yes. It exists and is 777.

And I tried both with and without url rewriting (and both with and without .htaccess).

Besides, I already cleaned cache.

What else can I try?

Maybe some php setting?

Maybe it makes any difference if it is run as a module or cgi? How can I change it, if this is the case?

I am clueless!
