Serbian characters in manager

Hi,
I have installed clean 0.9.6.2 on my server (have a 15 modx installations there), and everything went well, except that I could not see Serbian characters in Manager.
On website everything was fine...

Problem solved after I have commented those two lines form config.inc.php:

//$database_connection_charset = ’utf8’;
//$database_connection_method = ’SET CHARACTER SET’;

and put

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

in template...

That wasn’t case with previous installations?
Any comments?

There’s a bug in 0.9.6.2 that is currently being resolved  with regards to some language characters. I believe your situation falls into this category? Have a look at this link: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,28897.msg176330.html#new

I had the exYU characters issue in Manager too. I have also fixed it, differently, because my installation has been done before I set the MySQL to default to UTF8, so many pages needed corrections.

I probbably would not upgrade anythigng. I waited for the final "evolution" version. I hope I would not find any critical bugs to use this setup as a default for my future projects.
