Hi, I had the following problem using AjaxSearch 1.5

This is what happens. In one of my articles I have the greek word πολλά (which means ’’many’’ BTW), when I try to search it using the greek alphabet it finds nothing. So I went in the documents HTML file and saw that this greek word in html is prodused like this:
    πολλά
When I entered as a search term πολλά it found it exactly as i wanted!
any suggestins why someone has to enter the html code for a greek word in order to get a search result?

    The solution is ,
If you switch the entity encoding of TinyMCE in your installation from named to raw (could be set in the plugin configuration) and edit and save all your documents this problem should be solved.
this was given by Jako, and solved the search problem.
I thing this would work with other languages too.

Many thanks to Jako. Hope it helps out anyone with a similar problem.

This solution is described too in the wiki documentation of the release 1.7 of AjaxSearch:
Searching for words containing characters like "å,ä,ö,Å,Ä,Ö" require to configure your editor to avoid entity encoding. With TinyMCE, for that, change the entity_encoding parameter from "named" to "raw" in the configuration tab and save again your documents
