MODx 096 translation kit

I believe that the main thing still missing from the Spanish files is the readme. Other than that it looks like Luciano and Ares have translated pretty much everything. We’re also posting each file as a wiki document so that they can be edited collaboratively for future releases.

There is a Spanish language index page as well here: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Categoria:Traduccion

Question: What about the Spanish (and other language) versions of image files (e.g. the MaxiGallery close, next, previous images, etc.)?

Probably should be done, but since Maxigallery isn’t part of the core, it’s not as pressing

previously posted at: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,13891.0.html

now collected again in form of modx translation pack-0.9.6, also updated by the wiki laguages files.

ya Ali

Here’s the complete updated pack for all of the default files in Spanish.

Here we go. See the complete translated translation kit in german utf-8.

I hope I´ll find some proof-readers until final release, but I think it works better than none

Note: This is UTF-8 encoded, but I don´t think there are much germans which still use iso-8859-15 because of "german Umlaute" like äöü etc.

I am not quite sure if the files can be saved like this (with äöü etc. and not the utf-8 expression), but it works and doesn´t fail validation. If they have to be saved with UTF-8 expressions (Netnoise, how has it to be handled?)... tell me

Missing the updated README file in German.

Japanese lang file is here.

Please post all language kits here. Issues with ignore boards settings prevent downloading and access in some forums. Thanks.

Yama,

I grabbed the file via FTP access, but it’s missing two files: the main readme and the japanese country file (in manager/includes/lang/country). I’ve committed the others, though. Thanks!

The swedish langpack has been updated with the changes in rc3 and can be found here:

Swedish lang pack for MODx 0.9.6 rc3 rev 2592

Enjoy!

@Ryan
Shouldn’t the & characters in the following definition be entities

$_lang["xhtml_urls_message"] = ’Replaces ampersand (&) characters in urls that are generated by MODx with the validating &<!-- -->amp; htmlentity’;

like so

$_lang["xhtml_urls_message"] = ’Replaces ampersand (&) characters in urls that are generated by MODx with the validating &<!-- -->amp; htmlentity’;
