Does this work with Articles that are children of a parent container? Also, I believe I understand this to work off of the parent container's TPL. If so then if you have several containers using the same TPL how can you set different default TPLs for the Articles?

Each Articles container lets you specify the template for both the main Articles container itself and the template for its child articles.
