    Hi,

I have to make a multilingual website (2 languages, maybe more later).
Is there a way to do that with MODx. I want that the menu vary in function of the selected language

    • Yes, it is...in fact that’s why I chose MODx (then Etomite with MODx extensions) in the first place.

        Thanks

I tried to follow your instructions (in file SetLang.txt).
The Language choice menu works well

I have problems with the main menu. In some cases the menu disappears when I go to a page of the current language.
Hem... It’s a little bit hard to explain. The best is that you go on my test website to see yourself : http://modx.elfloridita.net

I’m not sure but I think I made a mistake with [[SetLangCookie]]. Do I have to put it in every page ? Or only on the home page of each language ?

        My pages are :
        [tt]
        -- Esperanto (2)
        | -- page 1 esperanto (4)
        | -- page 2 esperanto (6)

        -- Français (3)
        | -- page 1 français (5)
        | -- page 2 français (7)
        [/tt]

Thanks a lot for your help.

PS : what’s the difference between MODx and Etomite ?

          It’s ok now.
There was a mistake in a page. I delete and recreate it.
