Thanks Gary. I didnt change anything from default install. THanks...
I would be willing to bet its the login box you have on the side panel.... it uses javascript to put the cursor into the form and thats what causes the page to load crazy.
Comment out the weblogin sidebar and see if that helps, if so I think I have a copy of the code I had to modify to alleviate that laying around I can dig up and show how to disable it....
Here is the area I had to modify to stop that from happening....
Look in your assets/snippets/weblogin/weblogin.inc.php
line 87 - 89 looks like this:
<script type="text/javascript">
if (document.loginfrm) <?php echo !empty($uid) ? "document.loginfrm.password.focus()" : "document.loginfrm.username.focus()" ?>;
</script>
remove that and see if it solves the issue, only thing then is that the user will have to manually click the username box to put the focus there...
hi again - awesome template thanks.
i seem to have the opposite trouble to some others, the site looks amazing in Internet Explorer but in Firefox my menus don’t drop down, you float over and nothing happens, in IE the drop downs are there... can anyone help thanks.
also i wanted to widened up the things a bit. so i changed all the 801px to 1001 and the 799 to 999 etc in the layout .css file. i then made the header files 1000pxs also and the footer etc.
but now everything is cool, but i get a few errors in IE 7 - also a strange black box under the search box and just above the News title. the pages look ok though but not in IE6. everything looks how it should in firefox though...
also i’ve noticed my post a blog entry thing is really messed up with boxes covering each other up...
i also noticed that tags don’t seem to be there. they’re not in the manager and i can’t access them from the quickeditor, how do i get tags on for my pages?
