Easy 2 Gallery

Hi,

I have installed Easy2Gallery 1.4.2 on Modx Evo 1.0.5 and had a question regarding it:
The Administrator can succesfully acces the module and upload new images but the client with restricted access can only see the ’dashboard’ option.

After looking on the internet I can’t find anything related to this and was wondering how I could give my client access to this?

Menu> Users> synchronize user first> then edit the access on the access tab

i have an extra question with this permissions

i have a user that may upload and delete files, ..
but in the files-section the user may not make a new folder (only add and delete pictures to existing folders)
is this possible?

I have a feeling about the host's limitation regarding to the file's permissions.
Can you change it?

i have full access to the hosting and can change the permissions

but which folder do i have to change the permissions


or another solution?: is there something that i can do in the tools --> configuration --> file manager (change the new directory permissions?)
so that he perhaps can make a new folder, but can not place something in it

the root gallery's permission, the default is assets/gallery/
however, you might want to try to disable all the permission action by uncheck the checkbox in
Menu> Settings> General> Permission Options

thanks, it works to set the chmod of the folder assets/gallery to 555

then i can ad pictures to the submaps of assets/gallery, but i can't create folders or add pictures to the rootmap assets/gallery

the only thing is that nobody can create folders or pictures in the root, not even admin. But I'm the only admin, so i can change for a moment the chmod to 755 if i want to create a new folder

you might want to check the permission's values in that Permission Options.
perhaps the numbers are incorrect.

i'm not going to test it or changed it.
