Support/Comments for Easy 2 Gallery 1.4.0-RC-4

Try [!easy2!] first.
Those &tpl and &img_src values are the defaults, you don’t have to set them explicitly.

Is it possible to change the "Previous / Up / Next" navigation display text.

At the moment by the looks of things the default uses the folder name, which in my case is all hyphenated and lowercase.

Is it possible to tell the "Previous" and "Next" links to use the "Folder’s title" or "Summary".

Hi Goldsky, thanks for your effort with easy 2 gallery its brilliant....

Well I have a question, i m doing the gallery using the galleriffic slideshow example-5...... When i set up "image source" in config to original, i have a problem in IE 8 with pictures which have a height higher the width ( they are resized to width of the slideshow container ), in other browsers works fine.....

So as a solution i changed "image source" to generated, it solved my problem but, it always generate the image with background, as i m using gradient on the background i want that the photos will have transparent background, also the border of current photo is sized as the whole slideshow container. I intented to do the changes in css but without succes.

Also the photos of landscape are generated quite strange, croped and moved to the right (so they are not generated whole).....

Is there any solution or am i doing something wrong......

also some images have a quality messed up by resize... (which is the option i choosed in config for "generated image resize")

I do not have IE8, so I try to help you by searching the internet.

Nope this is not my problem, it shows photos for me in IE 8, but (for example) images that should have width 300px (portraits) are deformated and have width of the slideshow container div.....
If i choose image source generated this problem disappear but it generates photos with background..... can i change it ? It is possible to generate photos without the predefined background ? thanks

did you change anything on the module side?
eg: Menu > Config > Thumbnails > Snippet’s Options > Thumbnail Resize: &resize_type= [inner] <== default

what is your snippet call, again?

I have Thumbnail Resize: &resize_type= [inner] in thumbnail congif, and Generated image’s Resize: Resize, in slideshow configuration.

It seems to me that have a problem in resizing for the big image......generated images are saved in assets/images/gallery/, landscapes are moved to right, cropped and with the white background, portraits are working fine just have this white background (which i want to make it transparent) if
i use Image source:&ss_img_src= generated in slideshow config.

My snippet call is just [!easy2? &slideshow=`galleriffic` &ss_config=`example-5` &gid=`2` !]
