@goldsky : I’m wondering if it might not be easier to use the "zoom" config option and then get the sliding to work within that. ’Course, I hadn’t even noticed that until a few minutes ago.

In any case, when I try to enable that I get this error

I started over with a fresh copy of the smoothgallery.php file as well as reverted to the original scripts in the e2g distribution. So I don’t *think* I goofed anything up. And you confirm that error?
