Having bombarded the forum with questions lately (apologies
), I’ve taken a step back and started to document my (limited) knowledge.
I’ve created the first in what I hope to be a series of articles on using Gallery - the first part can be found at

I hope someone else finds this useful - putting it down on paper certainly helps to clarify and solidify things for me, so I thought I would share my learnings!

Looks good - I’m trying to get &parent to work, without much success. Have 20 albums which I want to divide. Have put them under 2 separate parents but can’t seem to get them to appear. The following call should return albums within parent id 19 - but it doesn’t, this may be a bug?
[[!GalleryAlbums? &rowTpl=`METgalAlbumRow` &limit=`10` &parent=`19` ]]
The code for template is:
<li class="albumList"`]]><a href="[[~[[*id]]? &[[+albumRequestVar]]=`[[+id]]`]]">[[+showName:notempty=`[[+name]]`]]</a></li>
Am I missing something obvious?
