Can't get my head round Gallery!

    Am fully aware it’s me and my lack of understanding, but looking for some simple pointers here...

    What I’d like is:

    A galley home page that lists the albums I have created
    Click on one to be taken to that album

    I have created a resource for my first album, and I can navigate to that resource and my images are displayed:
    [[!Gallery? &album=`lunar`]]


    What I can’t get is the parent container to list the albums! Following the example calls, I have:
    [[!GalleryAlbums? &toPlaceholder=`albums`]]

[[+albums]]


    but get nothing out at all!

    Any pointers to where I am going wrong?

      Incidentally, when I enter the Example1 code (below) I get no output either - images or gallery!!

        Well, I came across the tutorial about colorbox http://modxrules.com/articles/modx-revolution-gallery-with-colorbox-and-jquery-asynchronous-image-loader-jail"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">here and I now have a gallery list and can display images!

        I can now see how the calls link grin
