Images not showing up (HostGator -hosting company)

hi there,

im a newbie to modx and having issues with the gallery extra to show up an image. ive tried the solutions on other threads but still no luck.

i got this error message going to this link:

But when I replace

http://myweb.com/~devshuff/connector.php

to

http://modxrules.com/revo/assets/components/gallery/connector.php (got this from a tutorial site for gallery)

the image will show up.


My file security for connector.php is 0755 right now. Did I missed something?

tried prepend_site_url_to_thumbs and phpthumb_allow_src_above_docroot set to YES, still no luck.

GD and Image enabled
mageMagick 6.6.0-2
GD Version 2.0.34

hosting company: HostGator

anybody hosted at hostgator with the gallery extra working?

Files should be set to 644 and folders 755. It sounds like a path issue, so more information could be helpful. If you like I can take a closer look later tonight.
