    *** SOLVED ***

So the issue was that my album name was "333". Apparently gallery doesn’t work if your album name is solely made up of numbers. Good to know!

    *** /SOLVED ***

    Hi all,

I have a revo 2.0.8 install with gallery 1.2.0. The site is currently in development on a box using cPanel.
The dev url is http://mywebsite.com/~username/, where "username" is the name of the account (absolute path would be /home/username/public_html/).
I’m using friendly URL’s, and have /~username set as the rewritebase (friendlies are working just fine).

For some strange reason, when I call gallery, absolutely nothing outputs. Zero, zilch, squat. I can create albums and upload images just fine, but calling gallery in a simple or complex way renders the same - nothing.

I’ve used gallery quite a bit and I’ve never encountered this issue, but I’ve also never installed it on a site with a URL like this, so I’m guessing it’s a path problem. In gallery system settings, I had to set "prepend site url to thumbs" to YES in order for the thumbnails to appear in the manager upon uploading images (thus confirming that there’s some weirdness going on with the path).

I’ve noticed that some of the paths like ’gallery.assets_url’ are set like so - /~username/assets/components/gallery/. I’ve tried changing this multiple times, but to no avail.

Any ideas why gallery might be doing this? Let me know, thanks all!
