Hi,
I have an strange issue. First the System:
modx 2.0.5 with fixed coreconfig.
gallery 1.0.1-rc2
php 5.3.3
mysql 5.1.49
Gallery has it’s gallery images path set to images/gallery.
Gallery calls phpthumb. phpthumb generates the correct files in it’s cache directory. Generated files are visible via manually entering their path and filename in the browser window. They images look fine. So no rights problem on the webserver. Imagemagick also seems to work. Else no image would be generated, it’s also visible in phpinfo as active.
BUT:
In the generated src URL for the image file the image gets not displayed. if I copy this src in my browserwindow manually also no image visible. phpThumb gets started and generates the correct files. But no actual image gets returned/displayed in the browser window. Not in the backend nor in the frontend.
This is the generated src URL after deactivating xhtml strict urls (escaping also doesn’t seem to be the problem):
/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&w=100&h=100&zc=1&far=1&src=%2Fimages%2Fgallery%2F2010%2F12%2Fcimg2178.jpg
Seems fine, the thumb/cachefile gets sucessfully generated by phpthumb. But no image gets displayed.
What could be the problem? How can I debug phpThumb/Gallery to see where there is an error?
php doesn’t spill out one line of error even in display all messages setting. error logs are empty on the server side. access log looks totally clean. modx error log is also clean.
greetings

Update:
I now made a separate installation of modx on the same server, just another dir and another domain. After installation I got all necessary extras installed. After that I dumped from the old install the DB tables with content just over the fresh install. Modified my own snippets and gallery worked immediatly. No code changes, no thing. Just a fresh install.
Seems that during installation or upgrade to the new version the files got corrupt or some settings in the DB. Will further investigate and make a diff of those 2 installations which should be, in theory, identical...
