I have been away on other consulting and returning to ModX, still a beginner. I feel I should know how to know this instinctively but neither that nor searching forums has helped:
I would like to completely replace a (normal) ModX document with an executable Javascript/HTML (conformant) file that contains its own inline style.
Here is what I tried:
1. Using the file as a template with a blank document.
2. Using a blank template and pouring the file into the document itself.
I was able to execute the page with wonderfully weird results (displayed parts of the executable page).
Should I be including this as a file within some sort of ’normal’ ModX template? Or including it as a snippet?
.... I can find lots of help for doing php stuff but not so much for Javascript.
Do a search on the word:
includefile
Should find what you need...
