has anyone tried using nifty (rounded corners) within modx and viewed it in IE browser ?

When I try it as a regular html page outside of Modx it works in IE but when I try to display it from within Modx the rounded corners break. This is strange that it works in normal pages but not inside Modx, is there something I should know about Modx and IE ? Nifty rounded corners is straight up CSS code and some .js not too complicated and it works just can’t seem to get it working from within Modx

Bugsmi0, this is something that would be dependent only on your site’s template and CSS code; nothing to do with MODx. If it doesn’t work in IE, try validating it or going through the long and painful process of researching and learning the various ways to address IE problems in your designs.

that’s just it, it works just fine in a normal html page outside of Modx but not within Modx for some unkown reason that’s why I thought perhaps it had something to do with how Modx handles things like templates, chunks, CSS, etc

Have you compared the source at the browser of the static and modx versions ? You can also use the edit css sidebar with firefox for that part of the inspection. MODx doesn’t modify the markup or css unless otherwise instructed smiley

yep both are same that’s why its a mystery, but I also find that this needs DOM suported to work, does Modx support DOM ?
