Maxigallery next/prev issues

I have seen this problem on here before but i don’t think it has been solved. Basically I have a Maxigallery on my pages. When using the next/previous links though the enlarged image is distorted. it appears as though a duplicate image is laid over the top of the original. So I have to put the next/prev values at 0, effectively omitting the links. this is fine but to view all photos you have to click to enlarge and close to view next, it would be much easier with the next/prev links. any ideas?

Has anyone else come across this?
