Need to to make gallery with multi-view

I would like to start new topic for my questions
I am newbie to Web programming and modxcms, I am making a photography website with below major feature for pictures:

1.Home page: slide show randomly the select pics from dababase

2.There is a menu "Categories" to show the sub-galleries for (example): Portrait, Landscape, Fine Art, Street life, Fashion

3.A menu "Picture Set": to list all the picture sets. Picture set is a collection of picture which the author have a name for it. The number of pictures sets are unlimitedFor examples: "Sunrise in Ha Long Bay", "Wedding Season in 2011",...

4.A menu for Producs: list all picture for sale.

I know that with maxigallery we can do functions 1 and 2. But I am not sure about 3 and 4.
I have searched the forum but I cannot find the answers (or I would not understand the discussion because of my limited experience).

Again, I am a newbie so any help is much appreciated.
