Childgallery styling, need advice...

Hello, I need to style child galleries so I can have 4 child gallery thumbs per row. It would need to follow the tree menu as follows.

area 1
+ gallery 1
+ gallery 2
+ gallery 3
+ gallery 4

area 2
+ gallery 1
+ gallery 2
+ gallery 3
+ gallery 4

I would like each childgallery thumbnail to be inline as a row, so it would essentially look like this. I cannot figure out to take child docs like this. Do I have to use Ditto to achieve this? I’m using modx 1.4 and MG 0.6

area 1 : gallery 1 thumb - gallery 2 thumb - gallery 3 thumb - gallery 4 thumb
area 2 : gallery 1 thumb - gallery 2 thumb - gallery 3 thumb - gallery 4 thumb
