Difference between the display modes "normal" and "embedded"

Hello, maybe this is a noob question, but I can’t spot the difference between display modes "normal" and "embedded".

Usually I use "embedded" and then chose the embedtype.

But what does [tt]display=`normal`[/tt] do different? If I change it here in my settings, nothing is different.

When you use "embedded" display mode, maxigallery will use one of the integrated javascripts to display the gallery defined by the embedtype parameterm, eg. slimbox or ligthbox or somethin.

When you use "normal" display mode, maxigallery wont use javascripts to display the gallery. When you click on a thumbnail, it will open in a new "page" with prev / next links using the &pictureTpl.
