Can't insert [~~] in a Maxigallery field

Hi all,

I’m trying to have custom urls when clicking an image in a smoothgallery slideshow. If urls are external, I’ve got no problem, I just write http://modxcms.com in a Maxigallery Manage Images field (I did a custom field) and I’m getting it.

If I want internal urls, (e.g. [~123~] for example), when I click on the Save Changes button in the Manage Images, this simply disappear. Checking DB table, I see that this value hasn’t been inserted. The Funny thing is that only [~~] gives problems, if I write [~~ this is correctly inserted.

I really don’t know what to do.

Yea, it’s not probably possible. You could use two separate fields, one for external urls and one for internal urls. Then for internal urls, just write the document id. In your custom maxigallery template, use: <a href="[+maxigallery.picture.externalurl+][~[+maxigallery.picture.internalurl+]~]">..

Thanks doze, I think I found another solution.

Instead of using [~123~], I put http://192.168.1.129/modx/index.php?id=123 in the link field.

but this isn’t working too, It links me to the home page (http://192.168.1.129/modx/).

Now I’ll investigate a little, then I’ll try with FURLs...
