cant seem to find an answer, I have this caal but when loading the page I just se the thumbs and no slideshow, nor are the thums clickable.
What am I doing wrong here, using latest MG attached in MG forum. Here s my call:

solved, my bad two mistakes in the call. I used debug and saw there was no embedtype, checked my call better:
The mistakes: embedtype should be "smoothgallery", not "&smoothgallery", "pics_in_a_row" should be "pics_per_row"
Here is the correct call
[!MaxiGallery? &debug=`0`&display=`embedded` &embedtype=`smoothgallery`
&smoothgallery_timed=`true` &smoothgallery_width=`760` &pics_per_row=`4`
&max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`1024`
&thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]
Debug works fine for stupid mistakes like this one,
