Large file uploads and MaxiGallery

Hi,

I’m trying to create a media gallery , that will display large media files , both images and videos. Is it possible to make it with MaxiGallery or some other extension within ModX ?

MaxiGallery will only handle images.

@doze, thank you for you quick reply. So it seems MaxiGallery won’t work for me, can you direct me to another solution? May be the upload for a large files will be the main problem.

Maybe you could use some file uploading snippet to upload the files and then integrate some lightbox type javascript to display the various media.. or if you need to be able to upload just in back end, use file type TV and then create a document for each file (together with ManagerManager to hide unneeded document fields). List the documents with Ditto and create front end display with lightbox type javascript.

This implementation will need some experience.
