Once thumbnailed, always thumbnailed

I’m running into a (probably) newbie problem. I have maxigallery fired up on one of my pages, uploaded some pics, didn’t like the way they looked, changed some settings in the MG call, and re-uploaded the pics... pics show up ajust the same as they were originally... I can upload DIFFERENT pics and they work with the new settings, but if I go to upload the original pics, they always have the original settings! Help!?!?

Hi Chris,

I am a relative newb to all of this too but I too had the same problem. I later realised that you have to re-upload any inages that were already uploaded on whatever previous settings you have. This can be a pain if you have lots of images uploaded. This is why I use a test page before applying to a whole gallery.

Ah my bad chris, I just re-read your post and you already say you re-uploaded the pics. Perhaps its a cache problem? Hope someone can help on this. Sorry for the mis-read.

Do you have multiple maxigallery calls on the page? if you do, you need to use the &manage_target and &is_target parameters. See maxigallery wikipage for more info.

Also make sure that you are uploading the pictures from the same snippet call.

And when asking questions, please try to provide as much information as possible, like snippet versions, modx versions, snippet calls, document id’s, document structures etc...
