Resizing the image that Ditto Calls?

Right now, Ditto is pulling the first image of my maxigallery to the events page exactly like I want but its pulling the thumbnail. I want it to pull a thumbnail, but my site.com/events/ thumbnails should have a width of 186px while my site.com/events/event01 thumbnails are 77px which they end up being on site.com/events.

Ditto Call on site.com/events :

How do I get a thumbnail thats 186px width instead of 77px for the site.com/events page?

2 ways I know of
1. Set the size manually in galleryPictureTpl -> galPic

2. Use phpThumbs http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,34127.0.html in that same tpl

How do I have 186px thumbnails on site.com/events and 77px thumbnails on site.com/events/events01 though? thats what is confusing me the most

Do two different galleryPictureTpl’s and use them in your calls.
