Parameters suddenly stopped working

Hey doze, i’ve got a strange problem with my galleries. Until now it works perfectly with this call:

[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &pics_per_row=`4` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]

The normal size pictures are 800x600px, the thumbnails have been resized into 126x98px. Thats ok. But now if i want to upload a new picture into a existing gallery or a new one it resizes the normal picture into 450x337px and the thumbnail into 130x97. The thumbnail size seems ok but MG adds no dropshadow to new pictures.

Strange, it works perfectly until now and now i cannot do something. I’ve read the thread http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,30717.0.html but thats no solution for me, it doesn’t change anything any idea? Thanks

Hmm.. The default value for &max_pic_size is 450 and 130 for thumbnails.

So it seems that the parameters are not read at all and maxigallery is running on default values. I can’t think what could cause this.. Are you absolutely sure that the document you are using to upload the images has that snippet call? Double check it first (look at the id of the document when you go to picture management and verify that document in MODx manager and see that it has the correct snippet call). Also make sure that there are not multiple maxigallery calls running on the page which you are using to manage the gallery. Check that everything is running uncached.

If all else fails, you can change the default values of those parameters in maxigallery.php, but I think that there’s something wrong in your setup.

Yes, I’ve multiple calls but with very different parameters. The first call is for the main page, the second displays one random image in the sidemenu. Maybe thats the cause.

Yes, that is a problem. When you have multiple calls in a single page, you need to use &manage_target and &is_target parameters to make picture management on a separate document what has only one maxigallery snippet call running.

So i choose option 2 with the parameters &manageOuterTpl=`CODE:` and &manageButtonTpl=`CODE:`. I didn’t try to remove the whole call.

Yeah.. I’m not 100% sure if that option 2 works. Report back how it goes..

Correct way to do it is to use &manage_target and &is_target parameters, or use the &disable_manager hack.

Adding this 2 parameters lead in the above problem i think i will try this hack, it’s the cleanest way to hide the button. I’ll report back soon. Thanks for help!
