MaxiGallery CSS image positioning

Hi all!

This question is bassicly CSS question.... so any of you CSS gurus will help out?


What I’m trying to achieve is to center all the images in a gallery (max dimensions of an thumbnail image is 80px) with CSS (not tables please!).


Here is the preview of what I’m getting now (attached). I hope you get the idea what I want

What and where do I must modify the code to get this?

I have some experience with this, I hope I can help..

You need phpthumb to zoom and crop the images, so they’re like thumbnails you see on flickr or facebook.
First you have to get the phpthumb distribution: http://phpthumb.sourceforge.net/

Then go to the modxcms.com extras section and get the phpthumb package http://modxcms.com/extras/package/341

After you do this you can go to this forum discussion http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,34127.0.html, where at the top they have a way to incorporate maxigallery with phpthumb, you have to create a chunk explained in the forum.

I was able to accomplish this pretty easily, let me know if you come across any issues I’ll be glad to respond with an answer.

Cropped, square thumbnails are not possible with css alone.
