Hi all,
I’m putting my first site together with MODx and i’m getting the hang of it bit by bit. Sometimes i wish for more examples but MaxiGallery is pretty well documented and i’ve always found solutions for my past problems in the forums.
I also read that there were some more problems with resyncing galleries after ftp upload but that v0.6 underwent some changes regarding this. But i still have some problems with the resyncing part.
If i upload some pics, say pic01.jpg - pic10.jpg. After resyncing the contents of the folder looks like this:

This is only an example (results vary) to clearify what i mean.
MaxiGallery displays all the thumbnails in the folders because all the file id’s for the thumbnails are in the database which results in displaying duplicates. The links to the full pictures, obviously, only work for the renamed thumbnails.
Maybe this has something to do with memory exhaustion (i don’t know if MaxiGallery displays an error if this is the case) but my server settings allow MaxiGallery to temporarily increase memory size. It sometimes occurs even when it resyncs only eight 100KB pics without extra masking.
I just tried Addgod’s version including swfupload and I must say it’s a nice alternative for uploading with ftp. Uploading 50 pics (maybe more... have to test it) and no problems.
I only had to use &use_flash_upload=`true` and not &use_flash_uploader=`1` as mentioned in the forum post. And i don’t get the <hr /> in the manageOuterFlashTpl (maybe they’re typo’s und should be
)?
