SEF Urls error

    Is this becuase of unpatched parser or is this a bigger problem? Whenever I activate friendly URL’s I get this error message:
    Fatal error: Cannot use [] for reading in /Users/iumcwebmaster/modx/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(807) : regexp code on line 1

    I have mod_rewrite and .htaccess setup.
