Is there a pre built way of adding pagination to a gallery (similar to ditto)? I know about "&pics_per_page, &pics_per_row" but when I add them to my template I only get the amount of images that I am confining the gallery to display, and no pagination.

When you use &pics_per_page parameter, you should get pagination visible. There is a placeholders for the pagination controls in default templates, so if you have modified them or are using custom ones, be sure to check you haven’t removed those placeholders.
