Please Help! Manage Pictures Button does nothing!

    Hello all. Long time lurker, first time poster. wink

    I am having a problem with MaxiGallery and I’ve been pounding my head for two days trying to figure it out.

    I have a gallery that I’m calling with the following call:

    [!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &pics_per_row=`4` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`600` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]

    When I log in as a manager I can see the "Manage Pictures" button but when I click it nothing happens. I’ve been reading in the forums and double checked so here’s the things I suspect you’ll want to know: The page is set to cacheable but the snippet call is indeed uncached. I double checked the file permissions on the /assets/galleries folder and opened them wide open (777). I have cleared the cache on the site. I’ve signed out as manager, completely cleared my cache and cookies locally, then signed back in. Still no luck.

        That’s the most frustrating part. It worked at one point and then just stopped. For the life of me I have no idea what changed. It’s one of those things where you finish the site, go to present it to a client, and TA-DA, it doesn’t work. grin

        I’m so confused! LOL!

          hmm...if you log in & go to the gallery page...check the source code if the button is actually there, it maybe hidden due to some css that interferes:

            First and foremost - THANK YOU! I appreciate you trying to help me out.

            I just checked with Firefox 3, IE 6, and IE 7. Unfortunately it’s the same thing each place. It actually acts as though it’s not even submitting the form when I click the "manage pictures" button. In other words normally there would be a page refresh and in this case there isn’t.

            Any other ideas?

              you got some validation errors:

              try to get rid of them, some of them could be related to this in your source:

                check if placing &debug=`0` in your MaxiGallery call, and clearing the MODx- and browser-cache brings any change

                  It’s amazing what a fresh set of eyes can do sometimes. The problem was the missing closing quote on the class tag. I must have looked at that code 200 times and never caught it!
