Question regarding child galleries without photos [SOLVED]

Hi all,

Just started using Maxigallery for the first time and it seems superb.

I have created a parent document, with 3 child galleries underneath it. Only 1 of these galleries has photos in it and the other 2 don’t contain any photos yet. I viewed this gallery by finding it’s ID and then entering it into the browser address bar ../index.php?id=29 and then uploaded the photos.

My question is: How would a user access the other 2 gallery documents in order to upload photos to them, without doing what I did (above)

Is it possible to display the gallery names on the parent document, even though they don’t contain any photos yet. This is so that a user can click on the gallery, then the Manage Pictures button, and add images to it.

Any help much appreciated.

I guess this was solved, or at least that’s what the topic says.. In future, please post how you solved your issues to help others.

In any case, you can simply list the documents with Ditto or Wayfinder or another document listing snippet. MaxiGallery’s childgalleries display mode only lists the documents that have pictures in them..

I used Ditto to list the gallery documents to solve the problem.
