Database values for own_id after DB-Charset & Collation change

Hi everybody,

i got a question concerning values inserted into the database after installing a modx-website locally and changing the database charset & collation...

the Database on the live server used:
Character Set and Collation (latin1, latin1_german2_ci)

locally i imported it to:
CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci

everything works well, i just realised another value used for the database-table own_id, pictures uploaded on the live server got an 0, pictures uploaded got an "NULL", see here (green upload live server, red upload locally)

the table looks like this (upload live site):
www.kunane.com/modx/maxigallery/maxigallery_old.jpg

upload locally:
www.kunane.com/modx/maxigallery/maxigallery_new.jpg

is this value the same, and either "0" or "NULL" depends on the Database Charset & Collation?

i just want to make sure that i don’t run into any problems later, the site is in progress and the pictures are just dummy-content which will be deleted anyways...

Doesn’t matter for MaxiGallery that is the field value 0 or null for the pictures that should not have web user ids.. was that your question?

just being curious...could this (value either 0 or NULL) be connected to the different database character set?

No, it’s connected to the different database configurations for dealing with null input values.
