[+maxigallery.picscount+] not working

I changed the childgalleryTpl to show the number of pictures in the gallery but I get the same value for all the galleries: 1.

Any ideas on how to debug this. Thx

I just noticed I use jquery on the frontend so I see some javascript errors.

Is there something I can use that does not involve using jQuery.noConflict();

I am thinking of using the Maxigallery uploader and creating my own template using phpThumb + a jquery slimbox.

yea, just make custom templates to use thickbox for example.. it uses jquery. there’s info on the wiki page for that.

maxigallery doesn’t force to use certain js library, nor does it limit to use one or the other.
