possible to use html in customFields?

thanks for adding that feature. this is beautiful.
I’m using it to display additional css tooltips for pictures that needs extra info.
I wanted to ask if there is somehow I can use html in the &customFields ?

I could create additional custom fields but would be nice if I could use a <ul> for example.

You can use html in all of the fields.. just take out :htmlent phx modifier from the default templates to get the html rendered.

doze I got an issue where I use " for inches and ’ for feet.
If I type for example in the description wall 10’ long 10’ 11" high it renders nicely.
If I try the same in the custom field with the :htmlent removed it shows like this:

wall 10/’ long 10/’ 11/" High

with the escape character.

To avoid this I have to change my ’ and " to &rsquo; and &quot; for them to render correctly.
but this only happens in the custom fields.
I could live with that but the problem is that inside the picture management after saving the pics with their HTML Entities when I re-edit the gallery it shows as plain " and not the HTML Entities, making it harder to figured which one already changed.

do you know what is it maybe?

You could do phx modifier to the custom fields that removes the extra slashes:

snippet named: "phx:stripslashes"


Then in the templates for custom fields placeholders, add that :stripslashes mofidier.
