Strip out some functions of Maxi Gallery?

Hi, I have installed the maxi gallery snippet and it is working fine

I dont want to use any other functions, bar adding and deleting images, can I strip out the other functions?

i.e. the ability to add a title and discription
the ability to zoom in on an image
the ability to add the position
the ability to add


or is there a simpler snippet that I could use without these other features?

There are lots of optional configuration parameters. Check the documentation.

If you use &manage_gallery parameter for example, it will go straight to the picture management always..

With doing custom templates to maxigallery, you can remove buttons an links that goes to the gallery index if you want.

Creating a custom template is the answer I think, how would I go about starting this

Bearing in mind that the objection would be:

1. Upload images of the same size always
2. Take away box for Title
3. Take away box for Description

You can adjust the max size parameter to keep original size image. Look at the parameter from the maxigallery in its wiki page. While in wiki, search what template is used to render the picture management. Then find that default template, create a new chunk based on that content in MODx manager, then define that chunk in your snippet call.
