Has my maxiGallery snippet been corrupted?

Im using maxiGallery on my website, its working great but after it finishes uploading the images, it shows an error msg. The pictures upload fine when I return to the relavant page. Can anybody explain why this is happening? The error msg is:

The error indicates that the file or directory where maxigallery.php does not exists
or it does not have the appropriate permissions to work with...

Try the v0.6 test version. I have fixed some bugs to it that relate to this error.
