Maxigallery Lightboxv2 and Manage solution

Okay have two problems with maxigallery i would like to address.

First i will tell my very simple gallery setup:

Page 1: (folder) Gallery [44]
page 2: (sub-page) Gallery2 [55]

Page1 contains:

[!MaxiGallery? &display=`childgalleries`!]

Page 2 contains:

[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &pics_per_row=`3` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]

Problem 1: lightboxv2

The lightboxv2 feature dose not work, and according to the information i have read it should function with my current solution.


Problem 2: How to make a new gallery?

As it is now, a webuser can only upload images to my gallery2 page. But i would also like to give certain webusers the power to create their own gallery’s. I’m sure this is a rather long workaround, but point me in the right direction and i will be glad =) Have already try’ed a tutorial on wiki, but it dident really work for me.
Guess i can use NewsPublisher to create a page, with a template that has the default gallery call?

1. Probably a javascript collision. Lightbox uses prototype + scriptaculous. If you have some other js library included on your page, for example mootools, they don’t play nice together. The slimbox uses mootools and you can implement thickbox by your self with the instructions from maxigallery wiki page if you want a jquery implementation.

2. You need to implement some front end system for web users to create documents, newspublisher or fdm or something. Then make it use a template for the new document what have maxigallery call in it. It get’s more complicated if you want that only the person who created the document can upload to it. In that case you need to have &admin_webusers or &manager_webusers in the snippet call and get the data from some template variable, for example &admin_webusers=`[*admin_webusers_tv*]`. Then you need to make FDM put the logged in web user name to that TV field when he creates the document.
