Smoothgallery, Moving InfoPane, and IE8

    I keep trying to make this work. I really want to use this in websites but I continue to have a problem with IE when I move the InfoPane. I followed the instruction here:
    http://smoothgallery.jondesign.net/forums/viewtopic.php?id=229 to move the InfoPane.

    It works in Safari and Firefox on the Mac. On the PC, IE 8 does not show the text for the InfoPane and Firefox does not show the images. If someone else can look from the PC in both IE 8 and Firefox to see if they have the same problems. I don’t get any error back from IE or Firefox. I don’t know javascript well enough to sort this out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Here is a link to the site:

        Had a quick look on a VM running Windows XP :
        Firefox 2 : Images & Text
        Chrome : Images & Test
        IE 7 : Images only

          Thanks for looking. IE is the problem. Any idea on how to fix this for IE?

            Maybe it’s being hidden behind the image?
            Try something like this in the art.css file :
            .myInfoContainer h2 {
margin-top:20px;
}

                If IE is in Quirks mode then the text shows.  What does this mean?  Is it possible to force Quirks mode?  Note,  my text is too large in IE.

                  Add this to the <head> in your template/s :
                  <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

                  to force IE8 into quirks mode
