Seems to work, but it gives some oddities with the borders.

Edit: in fact, the pictures show double now, but I did not see this at first because of some CSS.

I’m a bit confused because I do not see code for the thumbnails anywhere in the Slimbox part...

The thumbnail is defined in the bottom of the template, not in the is=`slimbox` block...

But you don’t need to keep all the conditionals in the template if you are just going to use slimbox, just put this to the chunk:
