[Solved] Manage-Button only for author of the doc

Hi,

is it possible to display the "Manage pictures" button only for the author of the doc?
I’m using FDM with MaxiGallery and want to give only the author of a document the rights to upload/manage images for that doc.

Any ideas?

It should be like that by default. Or are you talking about webusers?

For MODx manager users, the permissions should be so that if the user has rights to edit the document, he can also manage the pictures in the related gallery. Administrators can manage all galleries.

For web users, you have make use of one of the following parameters: &admin_webusers &admin_webgroups &manager_webusers &manager_webgroups

Yes, i’m talking about web users.
I tried the parameters &admin_webusers and &admin_webgroups but don’t understand how to use them so that a author can manage only the images on his documents.

At the moment my template call looks like that:


Hm. The param &admin_webusers must contain the author of the actual doc?! How can i fetch the author of the doc?

You need to implement it so, that when FDM creates the document, it inserts the maxigallery call to the document where &admin_webusers parameter is filled with the current logged in web user.
