Auto Slideshow and Gallery on same page?

Quick question. Is it possible to have a slide show on the same page as a gallery ? Or would it be possible to create a slide show on a page but using the pictures from the folders of existing galleries?

The basic rules are:

1. One gallery is bound to one document.
2. You can query pictures from any gallery to some other document.

So yes, its possible to have multiple galleries on a single document. But you need to create the galleries on separate documents and then query to single document with multiple maxigallery calls.

And slideshow / lightbox / etc.. are just various display types. Each gallery can be set to what ever display type you like. If you want to have for example slideshow and lightbox both in a single document, you just need to make sure to use such javascripts that play nice together (eg. preferably use the same js libs).

Im still hung on this slideshow business lol.

I mean both of our understandings of slideshow may be different. Mine is that there is a strip say 500px wide byt 125px tall which has images from a specific directory scrolling along it from right to left as an example.

I wouldnt even know how to get maxi to do something similar lol. So any help would be greately appreciated.
