I’ve searched through the wiki, forums, etc. and haven’t been able to solve this.
I’d like to put multiple galleries on one page. For example, I have a portfolio page (doc id 48) with two headings on the page, print and web. I want to have thumbnails of my work below my print heading that will open in lightbox. Then on the same page under my web heading i’d like more thumbnails of my web work.
Currently if I put two snippet calls on the same page it just pulls the gallery corresponding to the doc id twice. So, I’ve tried making another document for my web design (doc id 55), hid it from my main menu, and placed a snippet call there. Then I went back to my main page (doc id 48) and tried calling it with &childgalleries_ids=`55` (the hidden doc id). No success. It still displays the gallery corresponding to doc id 48.
Anyone know if what I’m trying to do is possible and if so have specific instructions?

I basically was on the right track but I needed to use the &view_gallery parameter instead of &childgalleries_ids. I ended up creating two separate hidden pages for each gallery with the snippet embedded and photos uploaded to each. Then on the main page where I wanted them both to appear I added two separate snippets with the &view_gallery parameter referencing the docID of each gallery. The post above also talks about editing templates but I didn’t find that I had to do that.
