SAFE MODE restriction on MaxiGallery

When I try to upload images to newly created gallery, I get the following error message:

MaxiGallery script tries to use ini_set to increase the execution time and memory limit if needed, but it cannot do it if php is running in safe mode. (I have my setup on a safe_mode enabled server with 15seconds of execution time and 30sec max_input_time and 32Mb memory limit. It can handle 10 images at a time taken with 4MP camera, but with image masking on I can kill it pretty easily)

Permisions are set to 777. I can upload images to existing galleries, but not to newly created one. How can I change php settings on server (if that is the problem)?

So it seems as you have to create the folders manually!

it seems the more client pays to the hosting provider, the less options he gets.
i use the cheapest hosting server, and never had this sort of problem...

You can use the FTP commands in maxigallery to do the picture uploading.. That should resolve your issues..
