Also, you have to re-upload the pics to have the size options take effect.

Thanks for your reply BobRay. I have been through your pages at BobsGuides.com. A wonderful resource. I’ve also been re-uploading images and clearing my cache (MODx and browser) between tests. No positive results yet. I’m continuing my own search, and any other suggestions welcome.
Are you getting 2 pics per row now?

When you change image sizes, you have to re-upload the images because the size change is done on upload. Also like Bob said, its &pics_per_row.
I also noticed that you are using the childgalleries display type to list childgalleries.. Do you know that the childgalleries page also has manage pictures button what uploads pictures to that document, so do not use that button if you are going to upload pictures for the childgallery.. instead go to that childgallery document and use the manage pictures button there.

Yes, thank you so much! I knew it had to be something simple. I didn’t understand the relationship between the parent gallery and the child gallery, and I didn’t notice that in my reading. I was uploading to the container, which had no image settings, instead of the child gallery. I apologize again, but I’m grateful for the help and for the tools you provide.
