Maximum number of images

I seem to run into problems when the maximum number of images on a page - after 89 I get problems. Is this something that can be changed?

What happens after 89?

I get 2 versions of the gallery showing (wrongly) and also snippets of code showing on the front end.

I think that the issue you are having is that PHx code starts to show in front end.

That’s an PHx issue what I have not been able to solve. You can try to increase the "max passes" setting for PHx in the plugin configuration. If that does not help, you need to create custom templates that does not use so much of PHx syntax or none at all.

Or you can enable paging for the thumbnail view, if possible in your layout.

I notice that on the Russian forums there are references to the number 89 when I do a search for ’Maxigallery 89’. Unfortunately I don’t speak Russian so I don’t know if this is the same problem?

Even if you don’t have PHx installed MaxiGallery uses it.

If you don’t have PHx installed, MaxiGallery will use it’s own PHx class. But try to install PHx as a plugin and raise that maximum passes value.

What do you mean by this? In wiki, I have at least used document id 89 as an example.. so it’s probably that. I don’t think that there is any certain number of pictures that will cause this error. I have seen galleries over 100 pictures without any trouble.. then again, some have trouble with less than 89 pics on a single page. It depends on the templates you are using and environments.

Thanks for your help Doze - couldn’t full implement PHx because of clash with EasyEvents but pagination works fine for what I need.
