Newbie help please: some parameters now working

Hi there,

I’m just starting to use MaxiGallery and it is great. To get it working, I just copied and pasted a sample snippet from the wiki, then browsed for some images, and got the gallery to work. Then I decided to change some params, like not showing the thumbnail shadow box, but it doesn’t work. However, when I change another param, like the number of pictures per row, it does work. Any advice on what I might be doing wrong?

Original snippet (from Wiki):
[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &pics_per_row=`3` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]

Updated snippet:
[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &pics_per_row=`100` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`0`!]

Am using 0.52 version MaxiGallery with 0.9.6.2 version of MODx.

Many of the MaxiGallery parameters do their job on upload, including the dropshadow ones. You’ll have to delete and re-upload the pics to see the effect.

ah-ha, thanks BobRay ... makes sense that params that create the final image (eg, image with drop shadow) needs to be created once at upload time and not run time.
